Specimen of atman-caress

During the pandemic, we faced countless forms of loss.
I often sensed both turbulence—and a strange anchoring.
Two ends of a scale, seemingly opposed,
yet balance was born in time’s irreversible drift.
Collapse, too, is a beginning.

Perhaps loss is the most undeniable transformation in physics.
Like the rise of entropy—everything flows toward disorder.
To some, that dissolution may seem meaningless,
but to me, it is a change of form,
a quiet persistence of being in this world.

In grief, we sometimes feel the ache is endless.
Like a damp wave returning without warning.
But as waves recede, so does the sorrow.
And what we’ve lost—what has gone far—
returns to us in other shapes.

Our emotions, memories, and love—
they may be weightless,
but their gravity can turn a world upside down.
They echo in our quiet wishes, unspoken hopes, and invisible threads of care.

Loss unbinds them from their vessels,
and they reappear—
as stars scattered across the sky,
as mist in the morning light,
as a silent flicker in the night,
as warmth lingering in a turning season.

With another frequency,
they guide you still,
in tracing the shapes of this human life.

Transformed, yet never far— they find their way back to you.
