Visiting an old friend

Visiting an old friend

is like opening a door to your past

you remember your younger self

oh we were happier, we were

a little more confused

but also a little more energetic

Now you have to deal with more and may have 

accomplished more

but 

when laughing together

we are different

You have a kid, I have a fiance

you have a house, I have a longer list of papers

but we both seem more tierd

less open to new challenges

This is getting old, this is becoming of age

life ahead of us

may we find true peace and leisure, find a family where

we can rely on and relax
