(The Stars Discussion Forum Begins)

Moon: “Sun, you're so annoying!”

Sun: “Huh? What did I do now?”

Moon: “Why do you have to shine so brightly all the time, acting like you're the center of the universe! Are you just that desperate to show off your existence?”

Sun: "Oh? The one who owes me a favor has the nerve to say that? Without my light, you're nothing but a worthless rock, remember?"

Moon: “You—”

Sun: “And I am indeed the center of the solar system—know how it got its name?”

Moon: “Who cares about your so-called center! You're just a big fireball that implodes every day, no substance at all! Haven't you noticed no one wants to get close to you? Nobody likes you!” 

Sun: “Really? And you think trailing behind the third planet every day is something to brag about? You can’t even get into the main planetary council—could only eavesdrop from outside the door.”

Moon: “You—” 

Distant Star: “Um, you two?”

Moon | Sun (turning together): “What is it?”

Distant Star: “Sorry to interrupt your passionate debate... but we're just wondering, what exactly is there to argue about?”

Moon: “A few nameless stars shouldn't butt in.”

Sun: “A few stars barely grazing the edge of the solar system dare question me?”

Distant Star: “Wait, isn’t this supposed to be a Stars Discussion Forum? Fine, fine, we get it—it’s the usual noble contempt chain and sole-voice show, right.”

Sun: “Get to the point, stop babbling. Moon will start fussing again soon.”

Moon: “Me? When did I make a fuss? Have some shame—”

Distant Star (interrupting): “Stop, stop, we'll speak. We'll speak.”

Distant Star: “What we want to say is, don't you two think you're being rather whiny?”

Moon|Sun: “Huh?”

Far Star: “Compared to us background stars in astrological charts, what exactly do you have to complain about? Even when attending a Discussion Forum, we have to grovel for your approval. Most of the time, we’re as invisible as it can be. Honestly, shouldn’t you spare some time to care about how tough it is for us?”

Sun: “What, can’t become a main star yourself, so you blame others?”     

Distant Star: “But Moon isn’t a planet, too!”

Sun: “Well, what can you do? Some people have connections. Right, Moon?”

Moon: “That’s not—”

Earth: “Um, hey, everyone?”

Sun: “Ah, here comes the one. Earth, your pet’s barking again—tame it.”

Moon: “Don’t you dare!”

Distant Star: “Great, another one. Now we minor players sure won’t get a word in edgewise.”

Earth: “......”

Earth: “Everyone, I actually came today to report something I think you'll all find interesting.”

Moon | Sun | Distant Star: “?”

Earth: “You all know those creatures living on my side who love studying stars and are obsessed with categorizing them? The ones calling themselves humans.”

Earth: “Recently, it seems they want to reinstate Pluto as a planet again.”

(in unison): “What?”

Earth: “That's right. What do you all think? I hear Pluto is quite pleased about it.”

Sun: “Without my approval? Ridiculous! How could the self-amusement of a few insects possibly count?”

Moon: “Exactly! Pluto? Who does it think it is? Nothing but a weirdo wandering the fringes all day!”

Distant Star: “Did this jerk pull some strings? Why should it get first dibs?”

Earth: “So your opinion is...?”

Sun (after a moment’s thought): “Earth, go get Pluto. We need to have a talk with it.”

Moon | Distant Star (nodding in agreement)

Earth: “Right away. My pleasure.”

(Earth leaves, the arguments about Pluto still echoing behind)

Earth: “Phew...”

Earth: “Good thing I had that card to play. All of them still care so much about trivial things like human opinions... Seriously, being stars and all, why are they still bickering daily over some petty human definition? Whatever. After this, I'll just say those humans are being inconsistent and acting idiotic again.”

Earth (picking up pace): “Sorry about that, Pluto.”
