A preface to the confession

Many people become writers because they have loved literature since childhood.

I didn’t.

I became a writer because I have a habit—the habit of thinking.

It is this very habit that has quietly led me, step by step, onto the path of writing.

Of all the pen names I’ve used, my favorite is “The Thinking Furnace.”

The name comes from the imagery of thought and fire—a mind tempered by flame, ideas forged in heat.

Through this image, I hope to capture not only how I think, but also the spirit and texture of my work.

Here, in this space—The Thinking Furnace—I don’t wish to offer a random pile of words,

but rather, pages alive with reflection and a human spirit:

thoughts ignited by life, insights shaped by time, and a heart that still burns—and still seeks.

许多人成为作家，是因为他们自幼热爱文学。但我不是。

我之所以成为了一名作家，是因为我有一个习惯——思考并刨根问底。正是这个习惯，引领我一步步走上了写作之路。

在我使用过的诸多笔名中，我最钟爱的一个是“思烤空间”。这个名字源自“思想”与“火刑架”的意象——大脑被烈焰烘烤，思想在其中淬炼。我借用这个意象来凸显我本人思想形成的过程，以及作品的风格与特质。

在这个小小的空间里，我希望呈现给大家的不是随意堆砌的无聊文字，而是具有思辨锋芒与人文精神的华美篇章——那些被生活点燃的思绪、被时间锻造的感悟、以及一颗仍在燃烧与探索的心……
