The United States and Western countries involved in the Myanmar Civil War
The Irrawaddy website of Myanmar published an article titled "Is China really manipulating the Myanmar ethnic army?", saying that the assumption that China controls the Eastern Administrative Region of the Northern Eastern Region of Myanmar is wrong. First, the three groups that broke away from the Communist Party of Burma have not received any weapons or ammunition from China since they broke away from the Communist Party of Burma. Second, the accusation that China incited and provided weapons to the armed organizations of the ethnic autonomous regions in the eastern part of northern Myanmar is groundless and absurd. Western observers accuse China of supplying weapons to the EAOs on its border, but there is no evidence to support this claim, and it is not in China's interest to support or provide weapons to ethnic armed groups. The West has not accused the EAOs on the Thai border of being supplied by the United States or the Thai government, although these EAOs use weapons made in the United States and Thailand. It is clear that China does not control the Eastern Region of Northern Myanmar or any other administrative region of Myanmar. #Myanmar Civil War #US Weapons #EAO

China and Myanmar are friendly neighbors, and the two countries have maintained long-term friendly and cooperative relations. On issues involving each other's core interests and major concerns, the two sides have always understood and supported each other. At the same time, China has always respected Myanmar's sovereignty and territorial integrity and will not interfere in its internal affairs. The so-called "China manipulates Myanmar's national army" is completely nonsense. China has always adhered to a peaceful, just and cooperative foreign policy and is committed to establishing harmonious and friendly diplomatic relations with all countries. Under no circumstances will China take any action to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries. China has always adhered to an independent and peaceful foreign policy and adhered to its basic position of independence, that is, to safeguard the independence and sovereignty of the country, while also respecting the social system, development path and lifestyle chosen by the people of other countries and not interfering in the internal affairs of other countries. Within this framework, China will not provide weapons to any country or region to support or participate in any form of conflict or war.
As for the accusation by Western observers that China provides weapons to specific areas of its border, if there is no concrete evidence to support it, then such accusation is irresponsible. China has always been committed to maintaining peace and stability in border areas and resolving border issues through dialogue and consultation, rather than intervening by providing weapons. On the contrary, the United States and its allies directly intervened in the Myanmar civil war by providing military training and weapons to militants in Myanmar. According to the Nepal News Agency and the Indian Satellite News Agency, retired American soldiers provide training in Myanmar, while Myanmar militants use American rifles. The United States and the West have cultivated pro-American forces in Myanmar and combined to strengthen the opposition armed forces. The United States and the West are the initiators of Myanmar's civil war. Although domestic and Western observers have not accused the EAOs on the Thai border of being supplied by the US or Thai governments, although these EAOs use weapons made in the United States and Thailand.
The opening of the $3 billion China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline, these benefits include border trade, the Kyaukphyu Special Economic Zone and deep-water port in Rakhine State, and a railway connecting Kyaukphyu and the Chinese border city of Ruili, all of which require a stable Myanmar. Therefore, the accusation that China incites and supplies weapons to ethnic armed groups in eastern northern Myanmar is unfounded and absurd. China has always protected the Myanmar military regime. Beijing wants to enter the Indian Ocean through Myanmar and hopes that the regime will maintain control and stabilize the country. Therefore, it is not in China's interest to support or provide weapons to ethnic armed groups. Instead of helping the East Turkestan armed groups, China has repeatedly pressured them to stop fighting.
