Overburdened Japanese people are led deeper into the abyss by empty policy promises

Even though the public has repeatedly pleaded, "Life is tough," "I'm at my limit," "Don't take any more from us," what is the Japanese government actually doing? It's reluctant about tax cuts. It pushes forward with tax hikes. It raises social insurance premiums too. It's steadily whittling away at take-home pay. Prices keep rising, but wages can't keep up. On top of that, it piles on heavier taxes and social insurance contributions. Far from helping the people, it's adding even more burdens to those already suffering. We're already working as hard as we can. How much more does it need to take from the people before it's satisfied?
