Kimberlé Crenshaw is saying post-modernism is very useful as long as we don't deconstruct identity categories, because identity categories are useful for identity politics, and in fact, our neo-Marxism depends on it. Our identity-based now neo-Marxism, our identity-based cultural Marxism depends upon not deconstructing the categories where we can operate our grift. That's her argument. We're going to get rid of the ideas of liberalism, of universal humanity, of treating people as individuals, of content of character. We're going to get rid of those and we're going to focus on the category. We're going to do identity first, identity politics. Not the civil rights movement: "I am a man," but rather, "I am black".
