Yoga class notes: 40 Foundation Exercises
(Silent Laughing) was one of the funniest exercises in class this week.
We had to pretend someone was sleeping next door, and we couldn't wake them up. So, we could only open our mouths wide and make laughing motions, but without making any sound at all.
And so, we faced the camera, holding back and laughing silently, quietly covering our mouths!
(Silent) It made me think of silent movies, black and white silent movies from the 1920s. And silent movies often have funny scenes, so I thought of Charlie Chaplin. I like Charlie Chaplin's movies because they show that life is full of laughter and tears, a mix of happiness and sadness!
Isn't it true? Do you think your life also has about 50% comedy and 50% tragedy?

(無聲大笑)是這週課堂上最有趣的練習之一。
我們要假裝隔壁房間有人在睡覺,不能吵醒他們,所以只能張大嘴巴,做出大笑的動作,但完全不發出聲音。
就這樣,我們對著鏡頭,收澀地哈哈大笑,靜悄悄掩著咀吧!
(無聲)我想起默片,1920年的黑白默片。而黑白默片又帶著幽默的畫面,我就想起差利卓別靈。我喜歡差利卓別靈的電影,因為他意味著人生裡都是笑中有淚,悲喜交集!
