很久很久以前，人們其實並不像現在這樣生活在陸地上，遠古的人們是兩棲的生命 (ἀμφίβιος = ἀμφί + βίος = amphibious)，醒時生活在陸地，夢時潛睡在海裏，居無定所，隨著季風與海流在世界不停遷徙。

B：我那朋友說，這出自萊布尼茲（Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz）。Ordo Successivorum 意為「相繼之存在之秩序」，Ordo Coexistentium 意為「共存之存在之秩序」。Ordo，Ordo，秩序，秩序。Successivorum，相繼者之存在。Coexistentium，共存者之存在。相繼為時間，共存為空間。

D： 我的族人，你也熟讀經文，卻為自己的立場而曲解其意。教士或許在道德上有所墮落，但這與不信神明所帶來的災難性墮落，在本質上是不同的。B： 兩者有何區別？我實在看不出來。D： 神與人的位置顛倒了！這種影響遠比你想像的要深遠！B： 哈，這絕對是件好事。

哪怕這漣漪可能是吞噬淹沒自己的巨浪，自毀性的好奇充盈著惡意的執行者，這個人在那一瞬間對世界沒有糾纏不清的留戀，仿佛在輕唱︰哦，你這個無聊又醜惡的世界，你還能給我甚麼驚奇？給我看看你能達到的滑稽，不要再賣弄你那些過期又乏味的所謂奇蹟。
