Lucker and Luckee:

A person who makes luck is a Lucker.

A person in luck is a Luckee.

Luckers may create luck for themselves or for others.

Luckees may receive luck from themselves or from Luckers.

Luckers may, or may not, be lucky themselves.

Parents and Children:

Parents do many things("create a lot of luck") to ensure their children’s lives keep getting better.

Children are Luckees, with their parents as the Luckers.

When parents act as Luckers for their children, they may not feel "lucky."

Their lives are often tired and demanding.

They invest their time, energy, and resources to raise their children.

This is not what people typically call "luck."

However, parents are willing to accept this assignment — being the Luckers for their Luckees.

Even so, parents still feel lucky to have the opportunities to raise their own children.

Parents are luckers but also luckees.

Perhaps this is what we call "Luckers’ bittersweet."
